Beaches See More Erosion

October 27, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The heavy rain storm on Friday, October 24 caused more erosion on local beaches.  Dewees Island reported heavy erosion.

One wonders how the $10 million investment in ocean floor erosion (also known as beach renourishment) next door on the Isle of Palms is holding up.

Sullivan’s Island still had standing water on the beach accesses at Station 22 and Station 22-1/2 on Saturday night.
